Our feature customer in this issue is Northern Lights of Inlet, New York, whose brave owners have brought the art of fresh, homemade gelato to the Adirondack Mountains. These pioneers, Danuta and Dan Knuth, transformed an abandoned 1950’s ice cream stand into a true European café serving gourmet espressos and cappuccinos along side their signature chocolate-hazelnut gelato and peach-mango sorbet. The Knuths make their 12-flavors of gelato fresh throughout the Text Box: week, using locally grown fruit, as well as natural chocolate, vanilla and nut pastes imported from Italy. Their dedication to quality and freshness and their friendly service keeps customers coming back for more. It was a true pleasure
